Summary
The best garments to knit are those which endure, and Modern Classics presents more than twenty timeless designs that you will wear time and time again. Using generic weights of yarn, double knitting, cotton DK and Aran, the book is built around a selection of classic silhouettes for sweaters, cardigans, vests and more. Discover how to create a wardobe of new designs by a simple modification of a neckline or hem or the addition of sleeves.
All designs are stitched up in the author's popular line of yarns and each project is accompanied by full-colour photography and easy-to-follow instructions. The timeless appeal of all these designs means the patterns will be used again and again, perhaps in different colourways or with different detailing. From a sumptuous angora poloneck to a refined cabled jumper to a elegant variegated vest, Modern Classics brims with an array of sophisticated styles for every season and every occasion.
